Sooner the Sunset (
https://www.facebook.com/SoonerTheSunset) is a side project of singer songwriters Graham Colton and Lindsey Ray and what a great project it is. When they released their first song "All Because Of You" I thought this was going to be a fun escape from their pop backgrounds and a straight forward country album. But now that the full EP is out they have done so much more as each song pulls from a different style of music and each one is so good. "Mark Set Go" is a wonderful duet that really shows the strength of each of them as singer/songwriters. "Love is Landing" has a sullen/moody feel to it that is rich and warm. "Long After I'm Gone" has a definite country flair to it. "Helium Heart" is a gentle and simple (and gorgeous) ballad. It may only be 5 songs but it's 5 outstanding songs and worth checking out!
